i put some brand new gator blades on my cub cadet enforcer ztr mower and my daughter took it to her house to mow her yard. She called me and said that she was having to mow over the same area two or three times to get it mowed good. i'm wondering if i put the blades on upside down . I thought i was puttin them on the way the original blades were. ( with the letters down). Anyone have any ideas?

Wings up. My Gators are thinner than the OEM blades and they give you a washer/spacer to make up for the reduced thickness. By any chance did the bolts bottom out and the blades are not tight enough? (slippage?)

The blades are tight and my gator blades are thicker than the oem blades. i had to have done something wrong.

My Gator Blades arrived with such a thick coating over the cutting blade surface that I felt the need to file it off as I installed them.
I think it would take a lot of grass cutting to have the coating wear enough to reveal the sharp edge of the blades. Maybe that is the problem?
