Greetings;

First of all I wanted to mention that I have done a bit of reading on this but I'm still not sure what the answer is. I have a late '80's B7100 that I am going to be using for the first time this weekend. About the only fuel that is easy for me to purchase here in southern Ontario, is Sunoco Gold Diesel. Sonoco's web site describes the fuel as being "low sulphur". A friend told me that this means only that it is lower than it used to be but is not the "low sulphur" that has been mandated by various governments. So, in a nutshell, is this fuel okay for this age of tractor, or should I be looking at adding a bit of lubrication? Any insights greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Erik

/ Fuel Question #2
Erik, I'm not a chemist or petroleum engineer, or any other kind of expert:rolleyes: but I wouldn't worry about it at all. It sure won't hurt to put an additive, such as Power Service, in your fuel. I did that routinely to my diesel, but that was because I bought enough of it at a time to last awhile. If you're using fresh fuel, I don't think even that is necessary.
