I have a cat 257b2 track skid steer it puts out 15.6 gpm.I have a 3 pt hitch 60 inch snow blower would like to front mount it to the cat. Would it be possible to buy a hydro motor that would work off the cat to have enough rpms and torque to work snow blower if there is what type of motor would I need thanks

I believe Bob Cat makes one that will work on your Cat with no mods. Ed

You really need high flow hydraulics on a skidsteer snowblower. Between the hydraulic system losses, separate fan and auger motors, the snowblower performance will be disappointing with standard flow.
30-40 gpm at 3500-4000 psi is needed with 80-100 hp engine.

Take a look at Loftness blowers. I have the 601 which is 60"wide and needs 15gpm. I'll get the motor model and send it along. I put a pto power pack for 20gpm because my L39 auxiliary hydraulic maxed out at 11gpm. It worked, but won't throw some snow far enough.

My unit (601e)has a Char-Lyn c104-1061. That's a 4.9 GPM motor. Surplus center has it for about $520. Their 17-20GPM unit( EM) uses charlyn c104-1062 . ( 6.2 cu in)

The 6.2 cu in motor would be the better choice for running at 540 RPM with 15.6 GPM.

I would estimate that you will get the equivalent torque as 20 - 25 PTO HP
