Hey guys, I have an opportunity for some free CaCl ballast. The liquid is recovered from an older tractor, but I guess you could say it is in good shape. It looks and smells salty... Can you guys think of any concerns with this( other than the normal CaCl problems I have read all about). The only cost I would have is A pump and a fitting to fill tires. Rim guard would be about $300 for my tractor in comparison. Just curious what some of you experienced tractor owners think.

Make sure you put it in a Tube.

After a number of years of using sale, if you think the cost of new rims will be equal or less than other products....... Go for it.....

I would recover the fluid into plastic barrels and use it for barter.....
