Ahhh wise guy eh. I'll have to remember that for future reference lol. Actually its funny you say that cause when I bought it, that was one thing mentioned, go around and check bolts lol.
Sorry folks been sidetracked with photos here. The tractor is back together just finished changing fluids now cleaning up some wiring. Hope to fire up any day now! pics will come shortly.
Hey there just a quick update as I got the tractor back together, took it for a spin and all is good! just doing a minor clutch adjustment and than I put on the loader brackets. Guess what NO OIL LEAKS!!
My name is Max Hendricks and I have a Futon tractor 2006 ft254. The front wheels have quit pulling and I have found out that the drive shaft is not like a Jima where it is spring loaded and it does not have the caps and ball bearings. The shaft assy. looks just like the cover of the shaft you had in one of your pictures.
I for the life of me can not figure out how to get the 2 pieces apart and check the roll pins. (hopefully this is all the problem is). Would you please share with me your knowledge of how to disconnect these two. I really would like to have the 4x4 working again. My e mail is mhendricks@poguegroup.com
