I am a new and proud owner of a Ford 4000. We are just getting acquinted.
It was converted to a 12 volt system by the previous owner. I need to
get the lights running and continue learning aboiut upkeep and maintenance.
I have primarily used it with a small back hoe and also have a rear blade.
Looking forward to learning more.

:welcome: Susan. Glad to have you on TBN and hope you will also post in the New Holland/Ford forums or the Vintage tractor forums about your Ford 4000. I'm guessing that since you say your 4000 was converted to 12 VDC, it is a gasoline model which was an early 1960s tractor. In 1965 and later, Ford built a 3-cyl diesel that also had the 4000 designation. I know there will be interest in your backhoe and how it is mechanized. So this is just a hello and a request to you to come participate in the other forums and include photos of your tractor if possible. We LUV photos.
