Ford 2000 cooling leak

Hi every body I am looking to buy a ford 2000 but the owner told me that there is a leak when you pour fluid into the rad it right way start pouring from the bottom of the block what it could be some thing serious or just a small seal or so please advise thanks

If it's toward the front of the engine it could be running down from a failed water pump.

Not much to go on.
Is the tractor the older 4 cylinder version or the newer 3 cylinder model?
Bottom of the block - where does it leak?
Front? Rear? Left? Right?
