Foam in Front Only???

Just need some input, both pro and con, of foam in the front tires only. I have a Kubota L3400 with R4 tires. In just 31 hours, I am on my second flat on the fronts. The first time I put Slime in it and all was fine. That was last fall and yesterday as I was brush hogging, it managed to go flat again and walk it self off the rim. The tire guys have not yet looked at it but the bead is damaged to the point I wouldn't trust it to hold air. If they can put it back on the rim and either with or without a tube and add foam, all my problems should be gone right? (Tire related )

My other option is tube the old one or buy a new one and hope for better luck. What do you guys think?

What happened to the tire that caused it to go flat?

I think a sharp stick or a thorn. I work alot in the woods around crabapple trees. The other thought was it might have been a previously cut (rotary cutter) sapling that there are hundreds of in the one field I own.

Ouch. If I was dealing with what you've got I'd go with a tube first and then foam. I just don't care for foam in tires but you have to do what you have to do .

I recommend foam for the front tires. I had several flat tires within the first month of buying my tractor and had the fronts foamed. Since then there have been no problems. I also like the additional weight.

Last week I took delivery on a new tractor and the tires are not filled yet, but they will be before very long. Three years ago it cost about $90 per tire, I'm guessing it will be much more expensive this time around.
