Hi all i'm would like a little advice from any one that could help i have a 3 foot wide flail deck from a turner walk behind flail mower

simular to a ferris

that i have been thinking about fitting on to my kubota KX71-2 digger as i have i lot of steep banks that i can only cut with a weed wacker And it is wearing thin

Fabricating the brackets and linkages is straight forward enough for me but i don't know much about hydrualics:confused2:

So the question is how would i decide what size / flow rate hydrualic motor to
fit on to it

Many thanks in advance Chris:thumbsup:

Do you know the HP of the engine that powered the deck? Do you know the rpm of the rotor? The displacement of the hyd motor , and GPM's will determine the speed. Small displacement , high speed, and large displacement low speed.

7 GPM's and 4 cu in, will turn the hyd motor at 404 rpm. 4 cu in and 2500 psi, will develop about 1592 in lbs
