Fishmouths??

/ Fishmouths?? #31
I cut pipe all the time and fish mouth it to weld together. When building H frames for fences. The fastest and easiest way I have found is to mark all the pieces and line them up, cut them with a torch, (I now have a plasma cutter that is even faster) but the torch works great, touch the ends up with the grinder to remove any slag.
If you are building something that needs to have a super tight fit up, then use a hole saw and the pipe notching tool, otherwise it is slow and you have to buy expensive bimetal hole saws.
I have made paper fish mouth patterns for years. I use a cereal box cardboard and they hold up pretty good. Then I started using the "Sure kut" metal patterns. These work nicely too.

You mentioned you don't have a torch, so you can try using 4-4.5" grinder with a cut off wheel if you don't have to many to do. With the pipe being 3/16" or thicker it may be tough to follow the cut pattern all the way around 2" pipe.
