First Mow Report--3240

Well, I mowed the grass Friday and Sunday for the first time at the new house. 2.6 acres in all--minus the house, garage, barn, and drive way. Friday night mowed the yard. Sunday mowed the upper part of our property that the people before us used as a pasture for their horse.

Tractor was great. It had 481 hours on it when I got it, now has 487. It took me a while to get used to it on the hill side. There is a small portion that I will not take it on. Loved every minute on it.

I'm so glad I decided to go with this Cub over a used Deere. It runs smooth, handles like a dream on the hill, and cuts very well.

Now, can anyone point me in the direction of a decent cart around 15-17 cubic feet? Time to look at the first attachment--even though it's just a cart!!!!

Check Nothern Tool. I have their private label and though inexpensive it is solid. I fill it with top soil/mulch etc and it doesn't skip a beat.

Thanks folks. I do like the looks of the one rom Ace Hardware. They have a nice welded 17cu. ft model at he local dealership, but it's $329. Not sure if it's worth it.

I'm going to check the Harbor Freight we have near by. Never know what they have in stock!
