For the difference in price and your location, I would get the RG and be happy. I wish I had a closer dealer. I filled my tires with WW fluid and it went quickly and well but I live in TN so I'm not terribly worried about -25 degree tractoring.

RG is more expensive, but does add more weight. But the main advantage to WW fluid to me would be the ability to drain and refill on my own in case of a punctured tire. I've had to plug my tires several times, and I can't imagine having to call a dealer or tire service every time that happens.

Water, with a mixture of slime from being in south Texas helping a friend cut the devils voodoo tree mesquites down. If I ever have to remove the tire it痴 gonnnnnna be a slippery slimy stinky mess.

You can plug a punctured tire with RG just the same and WWF. Draining fluid not necessarily required.

Only patching works with tubes, and I use tubes.
I can drain/refill WW fluid.
I cannot drain/refill Rimguard.

am I stupid here or what? why not use wheel weights? then u don't have to worry about a mess, pumping/removing, plugging or any of that stuff. I could under stand not having a ballast because of wanting to use a rear implement but if you live in my area with locust/hedge you are going to have flats period

With any weight choice cost per pound is considered. Cast wheel weights are by far the most expensive. Usually around $1 per pound.

My WWF weight cost .11 cents per pound.

Many of us do not face the same terrain that you do. We would be stupid to use wheel weights when more cost effective alternatives are available. One size does not fit all.

Also, filled tires will have a slightly lower CG but for most of us (at least for me anyway) it is a cost issue.
