FEL Build for my Kubota B6200

Hey Mike,

Got a couple questions. I see you have Ag's in front with turfs for rears. What size are each and how does that work. I have earlier and later models of the B7100. Old one has loader (with power steering) and has turf tires with front ones smooth. I have plenty of rear turf tires but am needing to get something for the front. I know were a set of Ag's (5 x 12) are mounted on the 4 hole rims. Didn't think I could mix up the Ag's and turf's. He also has the rear ag's but their 7.2 x 16. My tractor calls for 6 x12 front and 8 x 16 rear for the ag tires which is what I have on the newer one with 6 lug wheels for the fronts. Only difference I've found in the two tractors is the front hubs. I have the old set of the front 4 hole rims and see why they changed the design. Keep your wheels tight.

Does your loader have a joystick intead of standard 2 handle control's?

Fred, the frame separates in the middle so it does not need to be removed for the clutch. The flat steel overlaps and bolts together. If you search my name you can see this tractor broken in half for a clutch job. The frame was a great jacking point and aided in the lineup when putting the tractor back together.

Dan, I also have turfs on rims for the front. The rims need some work because of loose lugs making the holes bigger. 6 lugs would be good The reason for the ags is because they are better in the snow and came with the tractor. Seems to run fine with the different tires, I just stay off the tar in 4x4 mode. Yes my loader has the joy stick control, love it. I have closeup pics I posted for someone on this site, simple enough design. Again, search my name ;-)

I have only just noticed this thread - but have a few thoughts.

I have a KBF200 on my B1750. This was originally built for the B6200 and B7200 so it is worth looking at it in this context.

Firstly, it attaches at multiple points - I attach a diagram from the operating manual and a few photos of the LHS mountings on the B1750 just to give you an idea. Only attaching to the bell housing may not be a good idea - this goes all the way back to the rear axle as you can see.

Secondly, it is demountable and I have had to turn exhaust pipe vertical - as horizontally mounted prevented detatching the loader - the opposite of what OP proposes.

Interesting. It mounts forward of the MMM mounting bracket. Thanks for the pixs, something to think about.

Dan, here are my tire sizes:
Front Ag- 6-12
Front turf- 20x8.00-10
Back turf- 29x12.00-15

Niemeyjt's frame underneath is very similar to mine. You can see in picture #6 of his on where to unbolt the 2 halves for splitting the tractor without removing the FEL frame. Can you post a picture showing the whole tractor? I'm curious what makes it "demountable". Except for the hydraulic lines, my loader arms & bucket come off by pulling 4 pins.

Czechsonofagun, I'm thinking his may be setup like that to allow MMM usage with the loader on. My manual says my version does not allow MMM but the C version does.

To clarify, the loader is demountable - the frame remains on tractor.

It is off at the moment so I have taken a few pictures for you.

I'm in the process of putting a FEL on my b6200 and everything in this thread has been very helpful in designing my loader. However I'm having trouble hooking up my hydraulics. I have the factory hydraulic block by the brake pedal which I know I get my pressure from and I need to run the power beyond to. The problem I am having is finding the port on the tank (transmission) where I put the return line to. I know on the HST models there is a port in front of the seat but my gear model doesn't have this port.
Can anyone with a factor FEL tell me where the return hose is attached on the 6200?

Hi, I just finish building one for my B6200 and I copied someone online and sent the return line to a T fitting, I installed where the filler cap is right next to the stick shift. I unscrewed the oil cap filler putting a nipple screwed the T on it with one opening on the side and the other upward. This gives me the chance to still utilize the top opening to add oil then put the cap back on. I got the proper size reducer for the side opening where the 3/8 return hose line connect too. Sorry no pictures for now I screwed up my Galaxy 2 phone with a stupid OS update. One piece of advice make sure that oil cap is well screwed in place because when you try your FEL and drop it fast there will be some oil trying to gush out of there.
