Extending the email notification feature

I'm wondering if it might be possible to be notified by email whenever anyone posts to a thread which I have started. Does that make sense?

In other words, I begin a thread on X. I follow the thread until it seems to die out, but then a few weeks/months later someone comes along and adds another post. I'd like to get email notification of this, so I could go back to the forgotten thread and see the new post.

As it is now, I would only get notification if the person replied directly to a post of mine. I'd like to get notified if the person replies to anyone in a thread I have begun.

What do you think, Muhammad.. possible? Easy? Hard to do?

Could be done, but it wouldn't get very high on our current to-do list, meaning it might take a while. But yes, it does make sense. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Understood.. and thanks for considering the idea. I'd love to see what your current to-do list is! But I suspect that taking the time to post the to-do list would also not be placed very high on the to-do list. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif And then of course everyone would comment on the to-do list, and, well, this might be a bad idea! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
