I say that because a rusted deck is one thing you see on a lot of old mowers that have sat outside for many years. Is there a weep hole somewhere for the water to drain out? Also, you gonna put the little plastic containers on them for the instruction manual? Some folks like to keep extra shear bolts and spare lynch pins them.

Overall, a great looking, well made piece of equipment that will probably outlast a lot of us forum memers LOL.

We do intend to put weep holes in the deck to keep water from standing. I do not think it will have a tube, but i'll ask Ted about it.

That is the #1 reason that mfgs. use an inexpensive, easily replaced plastic shield.

Manufacturers used to use a metal shield. I'm sure they all changed to plastic due to cost. I just wish a metal shield was an aftermarket option since I don't have a shop or metal working tools yet. As soon as I get the tools, I'm gonna make my own and will happily throw that plastic piece of garbage in the burn pile.

I was trying to look at it while SWMBO was watching TV and so not to disturb I turned on the closed captioning. That's a hoot.

We are taking orders for our 72" Rotary Cutter now. It will have the same features/gearbox as our ETA 60" cutter and spec out extremely close to a Land Pride RCR1872.
