I am currently working over a Cummins A2300N2 with 363 hours on it. The previous owner ran the tractor, Century C47L w/50 HL FEL, into a pond and sucked water into #2 cylinder which busted the piston and cracked the block. My question is, is it necessary to replace all the main bearings and rod bearings? There was no water damage to anything other than the #2 cylinder. I am ordering a new block as well as piston, rod etc... and don't know if all bearings and bolts have to be replaced if not damaged. I appreciate any help.

I would replace all main bearings and cap bolts. There were some large shock loads experienced. I don't believe it would be necessary to replace the other rod bearings. What about head damage?

The head was not damaged. This engine has an abundance of head bolts, the gasket didn't even blow.

With all that happened.. I can't see NOT replacing the bearings..

Have the rods checked for straightness too. I'd also magnaflux the crank to check for any hair line cracks that may have been generated by the sudden stop at the end.
