I need something to carry debris, small ranches, etc. Something with the function of the John Deere Tractor trunk. I was thinking that if a 3ph drum carrier was available, I could strap a 55 gal. drum (maybe shorten it a tad) to it.

No, I don't have a FEL, and I think a carryall would not be as maneuverable.

Any ideas?

That sounds like a great idea. The thought process for the basic framework has already been done for you. Do a search on "ballast", "drum" and/or "counterweight". Alot of people add hitch pins and a top-link bracket to an old drum and fill it with various things for counterweights. Just leave it empty. One thread had a step-by-step photo series of welding one up.

You could also get a carry-all from TSC and strap a drum to it, but it may be bigger than the footprint of a drum.

A carryall with a pallet on it makes a nice tote.
