Dozer Question

I bought a Dresser TD7G this spring and just finished redoing the under carriage about a month ago. I am glad my track wasn't any longer like the Hi-track, both from an expense view point and the extra work viewpoint. It is a small point though. Cats are good machines. I looked for months for a D3C or decient JD450C I could afford. I ended up with the Dresser and am very happy with it. Easy to work on also.

Dresser made a good machine carried on equally well by Dressta. Dad ran a TD8 For Bonds construction and put down 22,000 tons of stone inside of Cooper tire with one. Also several exits on the Natchez Trace with one. Ive the run the 7,8,9, 10. Also the 12 to the 25 series. The same in the line of the Dressta dozers.

Just a little "food for thought". Any BUSINESS Transaction involves both BUYER and SELLER. If the BUYER has done all his research beforehand and made his decision on the item he wants to purchase, and maintains a positive frame of mind, the chances of a better and positive transaction will be the result. If you have someone to go with you that is more experienced in the operation of the equipment; that would be a plus. Most SELLERS will reduce the asking price, somewhat. Obtaining the necessary financing beforehand is also a plus. As an old adage says; "CASH talks--B------T walks. Good luck.:tractor:

I have never really operated a small high trak dozer but my family farm once owned a D8N and we liked it. I am a particulary big fan of the D3B by caterpillar. How much do you have to spend? The D3B's go for 7 to 10 grand. But if you got more you should buy a komatsu dozer. We have one of those too. :0
