disc mower advice

Nope never have seen anyone with the 3point kind or in a dealers lot. I guess the trail behinds are just more popular if won't the mower/conditioner around here.

Me either. The added weight would be enough to turn me away. Just think about dragging the weight of a 8' mower conditioner from one end by the 3pt hitch. Not for me.

I am specifically looking for the 3-point hitch models. Not the trail behind.

A 3-pt mount disc mower with conditioner..? That would be a pretty "hefty" implement hanging off the right side of your tractor!
