My tractor is a Mitsubishi grey market MT3201d. I started to post in the Mitsubishi/Satoh forum, but this one gets quite a bit more traffic and since a lot of other tractors use Mitsubishi engines I thought I might get a quicker response here. Anyway, my question is, what is the cap I have circled in this photo? Is that for lubricating oil for the injector pump? If so, does anybody know what oil to put in it? In my searching online, it appears most pumps are lubricated from the engine oil, but that some do have a separate reservoir. That's what it looks like, but I want to be sure and I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere.

Yep, it's the pump oil tank and use the same oil you put in the engine and if it was my tractor, I'd give it a bath first as it's filthy. Clean tractors / engines run cooler and keep your hands cleaner as well.

THAT CAP IS NOT FOR THE INJ PUMP..
The inj pump is FUEL OIL lubricated..
That cap is for engine oil & checked with a dip stick..
