i've got one of their stump grapples, which is built like a tank and was a real bargain by my standards. Mine has no issues at all. I'm sure Wildkat will take care of your friend.

I live about 45 mins from Denton. It's not the end of the world but you can see it from there.

This part of NC is called the Piedmont and historically, tobacco was the core agricultural product so, farming tractors have always been big in the area. Denton is unique in that it is somewhat isolated geographically which means land is cheap for manufacturing facilities.

Thomasville is a different story as their history is in furniture manufacturing. With the decline in that, lots of warehouses stand empty.

And then there is Newton, NC where Everything Attachments is located.

Why all these businesses are around here versus somewhere else? Don't know really.

Yeah, North Carolina seems to be ground zero for FEL grapples and 4-in-1 buckets in particular. In my
quest for a 4-in-1 years ago, I eventually found a used one on eBay and had it shipped to CA
from PA. It was a WRLong, made in NC.

I also once had a new implement shipped to me from Corriher's in NC. Great deal.

Almost like they used the wrong cylinder with not enough stroke. (except for the play) He doesn't still have air in the line's & cyl does he?

no air pockets, ran it on his and mine. originally thought it was a cylinder/stroke issue but have since ruled that out. took it apart and the pivot points are almost 1" with 3/4" bolts. the cylinders have 1" pins and the holes are almost 1 1/4". Have not heard back from wgaequipment or wildkat after numerous attempts. I have a fix in the works but was hoping they would step up.

It sounds like some brass bushings might be a good fix. Too bad you have to do instead of the vendor.

Now that's just plain sloppy! A new guy in "asembley" & no q/c? A couple of emailed pics of that to them should fix things. (hopefully)

spent part of today boring holes and pressing in sleeve bearings. The rake can now pick up and hold 1/4" stock. will have to add a picture later, dont see that option from mobile and my regular internet is down.

Well that is not the case here. Hopefully, you get to rely on gravity for your needs (or eat more wheaties ). Notice in the picture that the hoses are disconnected. The cylinders were fully extended. There is 5+ inches of play at the tips. Pivot points need some attention :thumbdown:. For reference, the tire in the background is 16".
Otherwise, the grapple rake is rather well built for the price. I tried it on my 86 hp skidsteer. dropped the teeth 4-5" into the dirt and pushed. Nothing broke, so......:thumbsup:

That is a clamshell grapple so gravity is your enemy not friend. Looks to me like they must have used the wrong cylinder size so the upper jaw just doesn't move far enough.
