My most dreaded memory of my youth was walking up/down the Corn/Cotton rows with a HOE. This was long before herbicides were widely used. Then to make things worse pulling the dreaded Cotton sack picking COTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh for the good ole days.

My most dreaded memory of my youth was walking up/down the Corn/Cotton rows with a HOE. This was long before herbicides were widely used. Then to make things worse pulling the dreaded Cotton sack picking COTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh for the good ole days.

I never picked cotton ... I hated walking the soybean rows with the hoe or pulling the weeds (before herbicide) and the other dreaded job was rock picking .... it was not real bad rock ... just those little ones dad thought could get into a combine.

If I could only go back one day and pull weeds or pick up rocks with dad ... OMG what a conversation we could actualy have.
