Deere 27C grease fittings

I don't know anything about grease fitting sizes. I have to replace a couple on my Deere mini. I'm guessing they're metric because a metric socket fit perfect to remove them. The threads appear tapered. A couple appear to be 10mm. One of them has threads that measure about 9.44mm diameter. Any help info would be appreciated.

I found the answer on another site. They are BSPT or British Standard Pipe Tapered. Who knows why. It sounds pretty obscure to me. $5 to $8/each from the dealer!

You can look online and find a assortment kit...

BSPT is not an unusual thread style just not common in the USA as NPT. Should be able to find fittings at any good parts store. M6 is another common size used on zerks that looks very similar to 1/4-28
