search for 62c or 62d and you should get some hits, it has been discussed before..

All i can say is:

#1 - make sure your tires are at the air pressure you want and they are consistant from side to side..

#2 - find a level area otherwise you will just frustrate yourself..



Otherwise read the manual a couple times to fully understand how to do it..

Stop in at your local John Deere dealer and purchase one of the plastic deck leveling tools. Only cost 8-10 dollars and will be the best money ever spent on tools. You will be able to accurately adjust the front to rear and side to side measurements. Most people run the deck rake 1/8 to 1/4 inch higher in the back than the front. For mulching it is recommended a 0 inches difference.

Setting the deck a little higher at the rear is key. Helps prevent blades from trying to double cut grass blades, causing grass blade tips to be shredded verses clean cut. Really important with taller fescues!

Thanks for info on gauge. Took very little time to adjust and cuts like a dream. Closest dealer is 225 miles
