Hello everyone, my question is there another way to grease the drive shafts to the mower decks other than removing the decks to grease them? I have a 425 and a 445 and I would like to get them greased but physically I cannot remove the decks. I am hoping there is another way? Thanks

Depending on type of grease fitting in U-joint you might be able to grease them if you can get your hands in there. Other option if you are physically able is just unhook the drive shaft from tractor which should give you more access and allow telescoping shaft to work in the grease. run rear wheels up on blocks for easier access to PTO from the rear.

Agree with suggestion of oldnslo.
I don't grease my 425 and 455 with 54" decks. Only the spindles and the scalp wheels.

Or wait for some help to come along to give you a hand.
