New Guy 66 years old. This is my first tractor .8N 1952 will be overhauling engine soon. Smoked a little when I bought it ... smokes a lot now.
Any advise on installing rope oil seals from experienced installer? Have read about 2 different opinions. One says soak ropes for 2 hours prior to installing ,one says install dry (cause it's easier). Thoughts?
