cutter for CK2510H

/ cutter for CK2510H #4
I have a 5-foot cutter for my CK20 and have never regretted it. On small tractors like ours, on any type of rough ground, wider and slower is better. I have mowed over ground with a bigger tractor and barely felt bumps that nearly throw me off the little Kioti.

Also in the CK20 manual it states that the maximum cutter width is 4' for a manual transmission and 5' for the HST. I asked the dealer about this and he said with the HST if it starts loading up too much you just let off the pedal and go slower but keep the RPMs up. Can't do that with a manual.

Too be honest about it my little tractor doesn't even have enough HP to break the shear bolt and my even though my cutter is a light duty one it chews up anything I can push over and creep on top of. Railroad crossties do not cut up well, found that out last year.
