Hey guys this is my first post here, but its not my first post to read here.
Im going to build a puller between now and next spring. I bought a Cub 86 with a 3spd and a Kub D600. I have already decided to sell the D600 and get a 1105 because I figure thats what ill end up with in the long run, so why not start out with one.
A little background on me, my diesel engine knowledge is on the Cummins 5.9's and a little on the 05-07 duramx's.
I cant seem to find any info on the 1105's in regards to head studs and fire ring's. I know when I put a Garret Gt12 on with water ( possibly meth ) that my internal pressure is going to lift the head eventually ( maybe im wrong, dunno yet ). I mig and tig, so I am going to make a fair amount of stuff on my own. But there are some things ya just have to buy. If anyone can post web links to Kubota performance parts, that would be great.
Current parts list and to do list:
Sell D600 buy D1105
Garret gt12
Egt probe and gauge
Weld spider gear... wait for it to break and then put new internals in.
Sharpen my bar tires
All the pretty stuff ( paint, shiny rims.... ) will comes last. Pretty doesnt make fast, just like loud doesnt make power..... But we all know the more performance stickers you have on the the more HP you have LOL
