Box Scraper Craiglist rollover box blade

Looking for normal HD box blade on Craigslist and was about to make the call for an brand new 84" dirt dogg that was close buy and accidentally closed the page so I had to reload and search again. Low and behold I caught this the minute it was posted and made the call and 14hrs later it's at my house. Only 500.00 and is almost new other than paint but everything is straight and works. Will look good later when it gets painted but I think it fits the new mx5100 pretty good.

Pictures are working, now.
Nice looking blade! Looks beefy. A little rust converter & some paint and you will never know that it looked like it does now.
It might even work a little better - the same way a just waxed car always seems to ride better 8^).

On the first picture it has ROLL OVER in all caps on the side and in the second picture it shows gill with no capital letters which is the front of it. Not sure if it is a gill like people on here talk about or not?

Forgot to add that the guy I bought it from rebuilds old case tractors and someone traded it to him for some parts. He had no idea what these cost new.

You are very fortunate. The only type of rear blades or really any ground engaging implements around here on CL is lightweight stuff. And then a lot of them are bent or damaged in some manner. I looked for months for a medium duty box blade of any type and all I found was what I consider to be junk at 75% of new prices. I ended up purchasing a new Dirt Dog 72" ROBB, 710#. It works well on my heavy clay, very rocky property and those typical TSC, Agri Supply and most farm store pieces would not have been able to do the job.

I was going to run down to sweets tractor place and get a dirt dog but finally had money and was on CL at the right time. Played with it a little today and I must say it was an excellent purchase over a new standard box blade. I will try to paint tomorrow so that it looks as good as it works and then have fun trying to work the paint off of it.

The side plates, the plate stops and location of the activation lever look a lot like my Bush Hog RO72 roll over box blade. The decals on the side plate for the top link appear to say something other than Bush Hog.

It is a Gill, it should have a plate w/ serial # and model # somewhere on it, it will tell you what year it is. Very good buy!

Actually I believe that Woods bought Gannon and Gill at separate times. Not that it matters anymore, Woods Equipment sold out back in 2011 and is now BLT. :licking:

The plate is gone with only the 2 rivets left so I will never know for sure. Now it looks like a kubota implement but I took a picture of the gill sticker before grinding it off.

I sure wish my tractor looked as clean and shiny as yours It currently has a lot more mud on it than the picture shows.
