Spreading hysteria helps no one.

And in a pandemic, neither does dissemination of false information that clearly has the potential to endanger people's lives.

I too think hospitals are needless spreading COVID-19 for the reasons stated in the story.

The high transmissibility aspect is a big problem ...

Something I never thought about... just got a wedding invitation for my cousins son up in Pennsylvania in June. He's going for his master degree out west and his fiancé is going to school out there as well.

What the heck do you do if you're planning a wedding in the next couple of months? I'm lucky, my wife and I only had about 70 or so people and (we even didn't need to have a wedding but my father would of prefered one and so did her parents), relatively small and cheap, but man, some women really get into BIG weddings.

Michigan shutting down tomorrow.

We will visit our neighbor in a few hours for a "recharge" as we always get a lot of laughs together.

No! It's hard but maintaining separation is the only thing the public can do to turn this around.

Yeah ... why would one do that ?

Could be endangering the neighbor ... or endangering themselves ...

I mean, if there is some needful reason that can't be avoided, well sure ... but it sounds more like a social outing ...

I worry that a lot of folks who had stress issues or even psychological issues like depression before this pandemic showed up
are going to have a hard time coping. All the more reason to do something nice, buy a meal for the person behind you in the drivethru,
let them go ahead in traffic if it's safe. We can all do a lot of nice things to calm stressed folks down if we are aware it would really help.

We may be tough self reliant guys but a lot of folks aren't and we all live together.
Every day is an opportunity for kindness.
This is a particularly good time to be kind.

I watched faces in the supermarket. Not many smiles. Best I could do was just thank the cashier.

This is a huge concern health wise. There is concern child abuse risks are increasing.

Many of us here have not directly faced our own death.

I wish the ground was dry enough for me to get out and do some bush hogging that I did not finish last fall. Setting on a tractor and driving in circles is living high on the hog in my book.

Shooterdon makes a post about his intentions to visit his neighbors. He did not say he was going over there to hug them, or spit on them. If someone is around a neighbor and stays the recommended 6' back, life goes on....Good Lord Agnes!
