I see it differently. I wish he could find articles that show the same information without the overlay of political snark. But the underlying issues described in his links, seem to be what a little later 'everyone knows'. So not wrong but rather, early and snarky.

Just skip past the stuff that irritates you or better yet search for more fundamental information that will refute or confirm that link. Quoting political commentators as primary sources likely riles some but the underlying information is out there, to be judged accurate or hot air.

Blame it on somebody, it sure wasn't because the man and his wife have good reading comprehension or listening skills! Surely they are not responsible for what they put in their mouth.

If someone is dumb enough to take the pills used to treat fish parasites for their own fear on contracting a virus, I hope they don't have any heart problems and advised to take Warfarin. They may go out to their garage and chew on a chunk of rat poison. I mean an anticoagulant is an anticoagulant! The containers say not for human consumption.

Yes, the guy who took the aquarium pills deserved his Darwin Award. Dumb move. On the other hand, the poor slob was scared, worried and one can see how a bit of misinformation from someone he trusted (POTUS) made him connect dots that shouldn't have been connected. Look at all the people who wolf down mega doses of vitamins and rhinoceros piss believing that they will boost health. It doesn't take much to push some people to do things that could harm them. A little knowledge is sometimes a very dangerous thing. POTUS has plenty of rational evidence based scientists around him and should be clearing things like his advocacy of chloroquine with reputable physicians before going public.

The guy who took the pills was dumb. So was the guy who gave him the idea.

Yes that was a sad case especially due to his wife. I am just going to stick with my Quercetin and other herbs and spices that I have been taking for years.

Regrettably, this virus is being politicized by EVERYONE! Not just by some members on this site.

The GOP, Democrats, MSM, Tin Foil Hat sites, FaceBook etc etc. Everyone has a "slant" to it.

Even the handful of the "experts" know the most, are not sure of everything. I keep looking at the death totals. They can "massage" those numbers too but not as much. Some of those numbers make no sense...that is frightening as it feeds the uncertainty.

A while back I said 250k dead in the US would be "acceptable" if that would save our economy. I hope we fall well under that...so far 2500 dead. We are weeks away from the peak and no idea how long this will run after the peak.

Anyone not fearful is stupid.

I have - in this thread, for the most part - made a concerted effort to avoid articles that are overtly political in nature ... to the extent that one can say this whole situation isn't political inherently ...

That is to say, I think I've managed to avoid articles - again for the most part - that specifically target a particular individual or political leader.

The reason for that is that the PTB have declared this is not the forum for that.

Instead, I have tried to (mostly) stick to information that largely has a public health focus ...

It remains a puzzle to me how anyone can point blame at the speech and actions of others when considering preparedness for the covid-19 situation.

With the "instant NEWS cycle", each of us had the same information as any of us. And that includes government representatives world wide.

Why didn't EACH of us put up a supply of masks and rubber gloves? Why didn't each of us have food enough in our pantries? Why do EACH of us not protect ourselves? etc.

Certainly each of us can find lots of room to fault those who try to deny/ dismiss/ ignore and cover up their own previous misguided actions. Those who do for political position should be hung by the short hairs. Circumstances change, move on. We need to work together. Fault finding isn't going to get us anywhere.

I guess it's human nature... often those that do prepare our the butt of jokes or worse.

We don't have the same level of personal responsibility as a whole is my guess.

What I find interesting is the old and very old friends I have residing in their homes are the first offering to share.

Only half my Apple TV You tube seems to work. I bet there isn't a human possibility of ever finding out why some of it works and other content is just "problem loading content, try again later". You pay for service but answers are out of the question.

Vindicates my belief in having ones own stand-alone systems in place. Don't rely on anything beyond your own four walls or property boundry!
