The second US death has been reported, a man in his 70's at the same hospital as the first. They now believe that the virus has been floating around Washington for several weeks.
Guys.... when SHTF your gold or silver is worthless. Beans and weenies will be king!
That's pretty much what the WHO team observed in China, and China's response as described in the report I referenced above. It sounds like they have quarantined the first responders (25 people) who were going to the convalescent home where the first death and some of the other cases came from.
This is an interesting twist. Keep that up and we wont have anyone to treat the patients. It will be interesting to see the plan for medical professionals who come in contact with Corona. But Im thinking this model wont work for long!!
New York has reported their first case so it sound's like you're right in the crossfire.

After reading through this thread I think I'm golden... I had weenies piled high with sauerkraut and beans on the side for dinner last evening.
If gold and silver are such great investments, why do the advertisers want to trade their gold for your dollars?
As for gold, I can see buying gold coins - sort of. But, gold bullion I don't see. How are you going to trade it in without proof of it's purity? I wouldn't take a piece of paper as proof, and probably not even accept an assay mark on the bar. And how are you going to trade in a partial bar?
No clue as to why the metals talk is here. Do metals carry the virus? Do they cure it?
The story goes that the market is spooked by supply chain interruptions. Manufacturing and transportation has been shut down in some of the Asian countries that make much of what we buy. There are already stories about US and Euro companies running into supply issue to be able to make larger component systems like HVAC. I think I read that some auto makers are having trouble getting parts to make cars.
It's not the bug itself, but the results of some governments trying to contain the bug.
The story i heard, was they had eaten so much salmon, they wanted something more like red meat. You really should not eat cats. Nor dogs for that matter
Lewis and Clark ate dogs when they could get them. In fact they went out of their way to get them.
