Could anyone point me in the direction of a good manufacturer of a core aerator I could pull with my JD 320?

I am not sure best length but assume 36" probably the max. Any input from y'all would be appreciated!

I have used an AGRIFAB areator for more than 10 years on several commercial and large residential properties. It is about 36inches or so. Great for any garden tractor. Only repair I have had was a plastic bushing this last fall. Easy $10.00 fix after 10 years of reliable service!!!!!!!!!!

These should be avaliable at any lawn\garden center.

The residential model was designed for the home owner that did not have anything more than a lawn tractor, so it was not designed to fit a 3pt hitch. It weighs in at only 135 lbs, and has less tines per wheel. If you are using a 3pt hitch then that means you have acerage to justify a tractor, and a 30" aerator will take forever on large acreages.

Thanx for all the replies!! Will do my research now and make a decision! Looks like some good stuff out there. My yard is in need of aeration on a regular basis.

Nice equipment at a decent price. If I ever get in the market for an Airator, I'll definitely keep you folks in mind.

In that case let me ask this, do you offer any models which will fit a Cat. 0 three point? I am looking for the convenience of being able to raise and lower the unit with the 3ph, but I don't have the need for a model in the "acres per hour" class. JD makes a 3ph kit for their overpriced Brinly copy, I figured you might do the same.

Jeff which tractor are you pulling it with?

Sorry I'm a little late in replying. The thread got some age to it, and I overlooked it for a few days.

I used my 4410 the first time I used my Turfco. I think before Spring I'll have a three point on my 455. The 4410 was just a little too big for some of the tight spots in my yard. I got it done, but with lots of turning and backing -- with bar tires on my yard. I am pretty sure the 455 (22 HP) can handle it.
