Coolant temperature?

Anyone know what the operating temperature of the coolant ought to be in a '13 G3033H?

Pretty much any working engine should get up to at least 170 and stay around +- 200 degrees. Dont trust your factory gauges to be 100% reliable

I don't have an LS, but my Kubota L4060 has what I believe to be a 180 deg f thermostat, so the coolant in the block would be regulated as in the following clip from the WSM :

I would imagine if you really want to know what your thermostat is you could either call the dealer or remove it and run the above test.

Currently most engine thermostats operate around 180F to 190F,
some of the Tier 4 will run 210F t stats.

It opens at 169 +/-2.7°F and is fully open at 194°F.

Mine has the same thermostat and normally runs around 176°F.
