Clamp On Ripper Tooth?

My welder/fabricator made me a bolt on bracket for a tooth from a box blade that is bolted to the middle of my bucket on my BH92. I only wanted it to dig out rocks so I don't make a mess with the the 18" bucket. Works fine.

Got a picture? This is the direction I think sounds best. I was thinking that bracket to bolt on over the backhoe bucket teeth would work well.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for, but I don't have a welder/fabricator at my disposal, so I have to work with what I have.

I once needed to clear a bunch of saplings that had taken over a gravel drive.
My solution was to DIY a clamp on oversized tooth for my CUT bucket.
That worked like a charm!
The saplings popped out nicely and clean leaving all the roadbed in place.
A simple back grading with the FEL bucket slightly tilted had that drive looking like new.

Get a ripper tooth with a quick attach, from either Bro-Tek, or bxpanded.com. I have Bro-Tek one, and I can switch buckets in a matter of seconds

I wouldn't buy anything from bxpanded right now. They're not shipping product.

Sorry, no picture. Haven't had to use it too many times, but works great. Bought the tooth online, it's mounted in the middle between the teeth, the bottom has a slot that slides over the top and bottom of the bucket and then a longer tab is on the inside of the bucket with a bolt through it.

Forgot to mention that he also made the tooth length adjustable too.

Yup. I put an order in nearly ten weeks ago and was told 4-6 weeks lead time (which is what their website still says). I checked with them at 6 weeks and was told mid-November. I checked the other day and now it's "towards the end of the month". I've already been billed for it too

So I ordered a piranha tooth bar on 11/3 and it shipped already on 11/9. I might have gotten lucky because it was for a BX and they probably stock or build a few of those ahead of time....
