CK30HST Shortage???

After several months of searching I finally decided on a CK30HST. So...I find the right price and the right dealer and am really excited to order and take delivery of the new machine and all of the associated attachments. Here comes the sad part...

The dealer was expecting a tractor shipment from N. Carolina on July 20th. Last week he expected that same shipment on July 29th. Today I find out the factory in N. Carolina doesn't expect more CK30HST tractors until August 23rd. Assuming all goes well (which I'm reluctant to do) I won't get my tractor until the first or second week in September. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

The dealer said he called to a few other dealers he occasionally trades with but they had already sold their last CK30HST.

Anyone else out there waiting for delivery?

Bummer..........for sure. I searched a long time also and I kind of always knew that the CK30HST was for me. Thankfully, the dealer had one when I finally decided to purchase or my wife would have kicked me. All I can say is that it will be worth the wait. Just turned 56 hours and couldn't be happier. Maybe one will turn up from another dealer. Hang in there.

Hello Maverick, Yes the Kioti Ck30 is a great tractor, i couldnt be happier with mine as well..Very well made and strong.. Did you do a complete search of dealers through the kioti homepage dealer search engine ? Perhaps someone closer to you will chime in with some more info.. Anyway i wish you luck... Matt

Mavrik02- I can sympathize with you, I have a similar experience here in central Maine. Made arrangements to purchase on June 17th and the dealer said he expected the CK 30 around the end of July. I emailed him earlier this week and haven't heard anything. Probably will call this evening and find out if he's heard anything. Have you heard anything different since your post on 8/4?

I also had a delay in my delivery (ck30hstlb) but I can't say enough about it now that I have it. I can say this, had I pulled the trigger earlier my buy delay would have been a non-issue. I would have had a CK30HST within days of my decision but I continued to search the ends of the earth for a better deal, better model, better manufacturer and better machine but kept coming back to the Kioti. I was frustrated when told of a delay but knew I was equaly responsible................not to say that is happening in your case

I called the dealer today and he indicated that everything was still on track for delivery of his next batch to North Carolina the week of the 23rd and then to his place late that week or early the next. He only needs the Tractor from Kioti...everything else is on his lot.

I'm off to Japan next week (for a week) so that time is going to pass quickly and I am hoping that when I return we are still on track...

I must say that my PaynesForks were purchased (on the internet) and arrived shortly thereafter (great service from them). Just no tractor to put them on. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

DREWL - wonder how many buyers out there had the same experience? I checked NH, JD, Kubota, and Kioti models - at least twice or more and finally my wife and kids got tired of my tractor talk and said BUY ONE ALREADY!! I guess I was lucky that there was one available when I finally decided. Like I said before, if I would have come home and told my wife that there wasn't one available............she would have said "told you to buy it before"!!! Anyway, that's history now and you will be glad you waited. The KIOTI CK30HST is an awesome tractor. Anything I don't like about it? ............Nope.

Good question but keep in mind that buying a machine is based on when the buyer is ready, not availability so dealers are not completely off the hook! Tractors and the large parts (bh subframes ect) are called "whole goods" and get shiped in a different manner than an individual part. This stuff comes by truck and many times in 45 day intervals so if something like a machine or a loader is ordered because of it's availability waiting for it is part of the game........unfortunately. Kioti is not alone in this. Most manufacturers are up against this

With me traveling all of next week the end of the month will be here before I know it. Had we been able to do something a week or so ago I may have jumped all over it. I do appreciate the offer and if I run into any unexpected delays I will surely give you a call.

Just a quick update on my now seriously depressing story. My dealer called Kioti and the two CK30 HST tractors he was supposed to get this week are just leaving Korea and will be another 3-4 weeks. I have no reason to doubt his explanation to me but I can't wait another 4-5 weeks for my tractor. I've got to find one for a reasonable price from someone else or start looking at the Kubota machines again and try to find the best price I can.

Waiting this long for a tractor is starting to turn my attitude about the whole thing sour.

Just got the fax today, August was a record setting month for shipments of tractors to dealers.... this explains alot of the shortage... we only have 1 CK30HST left...
