Oil & Fuel CK30 fuel gauge not working

Before I start tearing into anything, thought I’d ask here first to see if you guys might have had this small problem before. It was working fine then when I filled the tractor up the other day it never moved off of E. Possible wire off? What might be the problem?

Maybe just stuck in the down position. I used to own a Ford pickup that did that every time it got to empty. Driving over a few bumps would get it working again.

What year tractor because of two different styles? As mentioned, it could be stuck, the float hitting the side of the tank, possible wire off, I've seen mice chew on wires, or the float gauge itself went bad. I'd start with checking the wires and go from there.
