any luck finding one local. Thanks for any input.

Don't know about speedco, but you might want to look at http://www.freedomhitch.com and http://jiffyhitchsystems.com for a place to start anyway.

{SpeeCo Quick Hitch on my Satoh}

Todd, Do you possibly mean SpeeCo?

Most any TSC & Quality Farm & Family/Country stocks them or will order it for you...

John, you're amazed? Me, too! When you don't know how to do something, you hire someone else to do it, right? And it's even better if you don't have to pay that someone./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Besides, he screwed it up; I tried to tell him an old crow would be more appropriate./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Johnmiller,
Can you use that on all your implements? I keep plan on buying one but haven't gotten around to measuring all mi implement widths to make sure I can use it on everything. The last thing I want to do is have to take off the speed hitch before hooking up some implement it doesn't fit!

John,
How do you like that Speeco hitch? It is much cheaper than Freedom or Jiffy Hitch, however, it does not appear to be as convenient as the Freedom or Jiffy Hitch. Northern sells that Speeco hitch.

Thanks....Jon S.

Hi Jon,

If I had a choice, I would get telescopic lift arms... the best design was Massey Ferguson with dual Cat I/II balls. {My John Deere is nice though it won't fit the dual hole balls}

But, nothing was available like that for the little Satoh and I wanted something to be easy for my Dad to use. It does work real well and it's very inexpensive compared to what else is available on the market.

I do like the design on the Freedom Hitch, but don't like the idea of being married to an additional $200. piece for each and every implement... I think that's nuts...{Great marketing however /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif}

Owning a tractor and hooking/unhooking implements is the nature of the beast... you learn tricks of the trade as you go along and of course once in awhile new words... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I bought a quick hitch from TSC. It has worked for everthing but the 60" King Kutter 3 point. The swing links on the mower wont clear the pin pick up.
