Backhoe Case backhoe, wain roy bkt slow

Hello, we have 2 case 590 super m + series 3 backhoes, machine 1 came with a wain roy 4 in 1 B/H bucket, gr8 power through out. machine 2 wain roy was added after. PROBLEM. machine 2 when I use the B/H bucket to grab something its slow to open close to close and not much force ( rpm's all the way up) is there a way to increase flow to B/H bucket for greater force and speed. machine 1 has a flow dial above the gas tank for flow. is machine 2 internal, can it be adjusted in the feild ( by operator ) thanks for your help. Are we to assume that with backhoe two that the only function that is slow is the bucket jaw cylinder? At full engine rpms' everything should be fast.

it all seems slow but the jaw bucket is real slow

Sounds like a worn out pump or if noisy maybe a stopped up filter(s). Have you tested pressure with a guage to know what your system can do? For the record I have never had to run a Case 580 or similar at rated speed to dig with it.

If you retract a cylinder complete and hold it for a second can you hear the relief valve kick in? If not that is a good sign your system is not up to max pressure and delivery.
