Canopy project and my first welding experience!

I had decided that I need protection from the sun and protection from the tree limbs while I am bush hogging. I knew that I needed to learn how to weld, I have a fellow firefighter that works at a steel supply place and a fleet shop full of tools where I could work.... so here are the pictures of what I created under the watchfull eye of a friend to help me understand the basics of welding. I made the frame out of 3" x 2" square tubing and the top is 16 gauge sheet metal. After I finished it my buddy had some extra spray on bed liner and we shot the top with it for protection. The TBN has given me many of these ideas... so thanks to everyone that is one here!
