It never gets old, year after year im so happy to be in a warm cab. Its been really cold here in new england, i was aerating all day yesterday in cabin comfort, looking at landscapers freezing in the wind, raking & mulching.

Whatever happened to smelling the fresh country air? Civilization is quite spoiled in this day and age. Wish I had a Cab though.. You lucky devil.

I've had my 4630 with a cab for over a month now. I still have two open station tractors which will get a lot of use if it ever gets warm, but I've always wanted a cab for winter use, and I finally have one. It makes plowing snow during a snowstorm a pleasure instead of an excerise in survival.

It was 20 degrees today and very windy, and boy was it nice to have the cab! I might be a sissy, but today I was a warm one!!!!:D

I would love a cab but------- I had to raise my seat height 2" so a Curtis is out of the question. I wanted to trade up to the newer L5740 but to get a cab I have to go with a hydro and that does not suit my needs. So for now I will have to stick with my home made cab.

I could definitely see it being handy in the winter, but in the summer I think it would just annoy me.

I would state just for the record, that the cab love started with my curtis cab on my B7500 & that led to my factory cab B3030. Here is an example of cab love, last month (march) it was 70 degrees on the 15th, on the 17th we had a big snowstorm, always lots of cab weather here in massachusetts.

today was good cab weather and cleared out a lot of brush and rocks from an area. I would never have done this in cold weather without a cab to stay warm and listen to the built-in stereo radio and weather band. And staying cold while mowing in the summer is such a treat

yeah, the family got together last weekend for service project to take care of grandmas property. I had took the duties of tilling the 3/4 acre garden and moving 2 cords of wood in the wood pile. Everyone else was on hands and knees weeding flower beds and pruning bushes in the heat. I got most of the work done by myself and never left the comfort of my b3030hsdc. Willie Nelson on the radio and a/c all day. It was worth the entire cost of the tractor just for that day. I did not have to pull 1 weed... almost felt guilty.... naaaaaa :)

Sox fan huh? White or red? Nothing better that cab comfort in bad weather, We get lots of weather here in massachusetts, rain, snow, sleet, hail, heat, you name it. We get a perfect day here and there, but for the most part, the heat or ac unit is runnung if the 3030 is running.

I had a front blower, i would set one heater vent to blow up onto the windshield, that and the wiper kept the front glass good and clear. The rear window in a curtis soft cab is a snap in curtain, if it fogged up bad you could always take it off. Even with the rear curtain off you would still have lots of cab protection around you and heat.

The talk of cabs brings back memories of some of the last posts that Mad Referee made. He was looking quite seriously at the L5740 and was waiting until he had more money saved up before buying one.
I've only had my cab tractor for a year but have enjoyed every minute of using it.

There is something to be said for operating an open station machine out in the fresh air. I ran open station internationals for 20 + years, i want the comfort of a climate controlled environment now.

Red of coarse, is there another color? Maybe orange to match my tractor:)
