I noticed today that the floor pan on my BX-24 is cracked for about 6" where the pan transitions into the left rear fender. Having priced a replacement latch pin assembly for the ROPS ($48!!) yesterday, I am hesitant to ask the dealer what the floor pan assembly would cost. Does anyone have a repair suggestion and is this a common problem?
I'd appreciate any suggestions.

There had been a program to replace the plastic floor pan and add braces underneath. The dealer came and picked my BX up and did the work at no charge. Call your dealer and ask if the replacement program is still in effect.

This was a common problem/defect with the BX24s.
They should replace it under warranty .

Mine did the same thing. My dealer replaced it. Including the control lever knobs and hour counter. All free .. no charge. All common problems with
BX 24's.

I had mine fixed and just found another issue with the fix. The additional bracing interferes with the mower lift arms. You have to make sure the pins are "in" not out and locked when raising the arms. If not you will bend the linkage.

Man, are you guys good! Called the dealer just a minute ago and he confirmed the free fix. They'll be here to pick up the tractor, fix and return it all at no charge!!

I did find out that this repair is NOT a recall but a "Fix as Fail" program.

Also, The dealer advised me to get a replacement pin for the ROPS as they are REQUIRED to make sure it is properly operative when it leaves their shop, so I'm to TSC to find a pin.

AGAIN -Thanks Guys!!

Woodsmoker,

Buy a new seat (if you haven't replaced your stock seat yet) while your there (hopefully they have some left).
They discount the price because the stock seat is terrible and Kubota realized that. HUGE difference. You won't be sorry and it's not that much money.

Good Luck with the repair (been there, done that repair already)

I have the new seat on my BX24 (based on readings) and you still slid out and offers little back support. I still like the 2660 seat better.
