Bx25d coolant overflow hose?

Hello,
Doing my 50 hour service. I noticed a hose coming out of the coolant over flow tank from the top of the yellow cover. It is just hanging not connected to anything? Is this correct? Did not see any reference to this in the manual. What does it do and or connect if anywhere?

That's an overflow tube in case too much coolant gets directed into overflow tank, like if the cap isn't working properly. I also think it's the only way air can escape from the overflow tank when it's filling up.

Ok, got it. Thanks. Did not want to put everything back together if I had to figure out where it went
