hello all, thank you for reading!
I've just acquired a rough, but running 2003 BX23. At least, the engine code 3Y which seems to be Dec 2003, so maybe it's a 2004 model year?
Anyhow, the Hydraulic/Trans/UDT fill plug is not where I expected it to be based on the workshop manual I found. However, the manual I have is dated 2017, so.... makes sense.
The plug on this older machine is a large plastic threaded plug right in the middle/top of the back of the case --- very inconvenient to get a funnel into, and it has no dipstick.
QUESTION: How do I know how much to fill? Besides no dipstick, it isn't even possible to really observe inside to see the oil level.
Secondary Question: Does anyone have the correct WSM for this model year tractor? Unfortnately the factory sticker on the frame rail is scraped/damaged.
Pasted are the WSM page i'm referring to, and the numbers from the machine.
Thanks for any insight!
