I have searched and have read all the pros and cons of using a Three Point Log Splitter in general.

I was wondering if anyone with a BX2350 (or similar tractor) has a Three Point Splitter. If so, what brand/style splitter? What is your setup? Do you have it plumbed to the Loader valve, if so how? Or do you have a separate block? What are your cycle times? Any problem splitting any wood? Would you recommend the setup or recommend an alternative and why?

The BX2350 has a 6.3 GPM Pump.

I had a BX 22 with a 3 point splitter, I ran it off the backhoe lines, about 3/4 throttle and it split just fine. In about a hour I had more wood than I wanted to stack. And to this day I have not had to put fuel in the splitter or worry about the gas messing up the carb whin not in use.

I have a Ramsplitter 3-point splitter for my BX24 and love it. I run it off the backhoe lines and it works fine. I can run the tractor at about 2200 rpm and the cycle time is just right for me.

I have enought time while it is returning to throw the split pieces on the pile and get another round ready. Like others have said, it keeps me working at a steady pace that doesn't tire me out.
