Hi All,

I've owned my 1970 MF135 for about a year now. I did full fluid replacement when I bought it, and the hydraulic filter had completely disintegrated (I assume it was original).

Anyway, I went to hook a dirt scoop on this summer, and noticed the highest the three point arms would go, didn't seem high enough. Unloaded, with the three point arms as high as the pump will take them, you can still lift them both up with your hands another 4 to 5 inches. And interestingly enough, right before the arms "top out", you can see the arms "shudder" for a second or two before coming to a stop.

To be clear, the arms will lift plenty of weight, just about 5" lower than what they should have from the factory (loaded or unloaded).

Draft control lever is as high up as it can go, and bolted in place.

Anybody have any idea what would cause these symptoms? I'm looking for a place to begin troubleshooting, and wanted to get input from others before diving in.
