Does anyone have an idea on how much weight I would need to add to the front of the tractor to take the place of the loader? I have a weight bracket and 320 lbs of suitcase weights, but I'm worried this won't be enough.

I'm using the tractor on flat ground with a snowblower on the 3pt. The empty loader is more than enough weight to keep the front tires on the ground at all times.

Thanks for looking!

Assuming your blower is reasonably matched to the tractor size, I doubt you will even need the 320 lbs that you currently have.

A belated thank you for the replies!

I was very surprised when I took the loader off. The front end stays on the ground without any weights... as long as I'm on level ground and am not changing directions.

4 weights was plenty of weight to keep the front end down with my conditions.

I want to buy a lift for the front end of my BX2350. Can someone tell me what the weight of the front end is??
Thanks

An educated guess would be about 650 lbs, no loader or weights.

When I hang a 5' brush cutter on the back of my bx2200 with the 3 pt in the up position, I can lift the front of the tractor off the ground with one hand w/o the loader attached.
