Nice Pics... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

But I must say I got confused by your sig line and kept looking for the 4' brush cutter! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Probably because I am thinking of getting one for my BX, which seems more stable on slopes than my B2910 with the 5' brush hog on the back... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My error...but still, if you can post a pic of your bx from the rear with the brush hog on the back, I look forward to seeing it... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the quick reply... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Looks pretty good to me. I also need to get some bar tires, which I think I will get foam filled for safety reasons on my slope...

Do you find that the BX turns the rotary cutter pretty well? I suppose it should...all things considered, for the size it seems to have more PTO hp per lb than my B2910...

I have my rear tires liquid filled. I'd highly recommend it. Here's my thoughts on tires. I've had three flats from brush cutting. Maxxis is releasing a kevlar belted power lug m7515 ag tire. I couldn't get my hands on them yet - but it's what i will put on next if I have another problem. In the meantime I have found tire liners for the front tires and have had both installed. As a side benefit I believe the addition of the liner and tubes to the front have added about 10 lbs. a piece to them.
I was planning to purchase another set of wheels and turf tires. I changed my mind. My neighbor has a set and loves them. I don't know why. He gets stuck on wet grass then stuck in level mud without sinking first just sitting there at least I buried it (in those pictures where I got stuck. I was in 4wd. at wot. high range and full hst forward speed with the brush cutter up - I was going to see if it was going to be too soft - and it was).
Anyway my bar tires haven't torn up my lawn at all even in 4wd on very steep grades. So my next thought was to buy a set of bars as spares since I had 3 flats in two months. But if I could buy those new maxxis power lugs with the kevlar puncture resistant belting (no more flats) that's what I'd do and use them for evrything.
