Has anyone else had the left side of the mmm come loose from the spring loaded pin? Mine did 2 times today...simple fix...pull the pin outwards, lift the deck by hand...reinsert pin into deck bracket...
I figured this out...the left arm should be shaped like a "C" where the pin goes through it as on the right arm. On mine, part of the "C" is broken off. I will probably just buy a new arm ($83 on coleman equipment).

I had a similar problem on the 60" mmm deck for my B2150. Turns out the weld was broken where the L-shaped part of the clevis or "C" was fastened to the long arm. I had it welded back on and all is well now. Your spring-loaded pin should go well beyond the hole in the other side of the clevis and should never present a problem staying in place. I think you can get the "C" part welded and repaired for a lot less than $83 but the difference may include the price for peace of mind. I suggest studying the daylights out of your support brackets and entire mower deck and mechanisms -- making sure there is nothing else wrong. I assume you do not know how this break happened ? Another comment, which may just be our English, but you said BROKEN? Those parts are all mild steel and would bend, not break so far as I know (other than breaking a weld as mine did.)
It is definitely broken. I reached around back and felt a sharp edge. Not sure how it happened as I bought it used from my neighbor only a few months ago. I ordered a new one yesterday. Thanks for the input.
