BX2200 DECK

I have a bx2200 with a rck60 deck, no matter where i put the adjuster knob the deck doesn't change height, i know its not a stripped knob because it is gone, i use vise grips. i adjust it with the deck raised. i bought it used and I did not ask the right questions. Its possible i bought it broken. it is all mine now whatever the issue. any suggestions besides you screwed up?

Try loosing the drop rate knob below the seat. That can cause that since it controls the 3 point and the MMM drop speed

I guess I should ask does it drop at all and does the 3 pt drop all the way.

i cant get the drop rate knob to move at all, the 3 point works fine, all the way up and down

Yeah the drop rate valve likes to freeze up but if you 3 point drops so should the deck. The linkage is connected to the 3 point and just gravity down. The drop height is controlled by a stepped cylinder attached to the adjusting shaft. I can send you the service and parts books, too big to post here and I no longer have a server on line.
